Faith, Fellowship, and Farm Life with Mt. Calvary AME Zion Youth

On November 30, We were beyond grateful to welcome the youth from Mt. Calvary AME Zion Church to Lotus Hope Farms for a meaningful evening rooted in faith, connection, and joy.

This initiative was created to provide young hearts with a safe, welcoming space where they could experience God’s love through community, creation, and time together away from the noise of everyday life.

Throughout the evening, approximately ten youth participated in hands-on time with our farm animals while learning fun and educational animal facts. These moments encouraged curiosity, responsibility, and a deeper appreciation for God’s creation.

The night continued with pizza, laughter, and genuine fellowship as relationships were built and stories were shared. A Bible lesson centered on God’s love reminded everyone that faith can be lived out in simple, everyday moments.

As the evening unfolded, the group gathered around the fire pit for s’mores and conversation, creating a calm and joyful atmosphere. We closed the night with a wholesome movie, allowing the youth to relax and reflect together.

This initiative reflects the heart of Lotus Hope Farms. We believe that meaningful ministry happens when faith is shared through experience, compassion, and presence. We are deeply thankful for our partnership with Mt. Calvary AME Zion Church and the opportunity to support their youth in a way that nurtures hope, kindness, and bold faith.
